Anyone hear how the funds remaining in CICCI were distributed when it folded?
Were they shared out among the current members, donated to charities or what?

Lorne, ala_xfire and others you still have the CICCI at the top of your page.
The CICCI formum has quietly disappeared from view on this forum.
Sunk without a trace, a shame really. I was a member until I got ***** from a board member about the time I was thinking what a clique it had become, that was the last straw.
There should be a mass cleanup of the letters CICCI in the members headings.
I heard it folded in February. There should be a closing financial report, especially for a club that operated in most states.
Where’s JEH when you need him?

ZIP439 is the only poster on the site for ages, talk about going down with ship.
The site is still running and you can sign up if you want to.
Maybe the ads on the site will add worth to it.

I see no reason to remove it from mine simply because the latest generation of those in charge did an insufficient job of managing what had been a top-notch car club ...

Add this to your best of San Francisco.

Wild times, the protests of the Vietnam war, race riots etc. CLICK
I saw it from afar and I was shocked. We had a lot of draft dodgers come here and make a new life, some went back when pardoned.
The youth of today seem to interested in their phones to worry about too many protests.

CICCI final funds were distributed to members in good standing; I received my check thru the mail a few days back. I believe without a national recognized Crossfire club the likely hood of the Crossfire becoming a sought after collector car is much diminished. I think 180 is correct when he stated "I was thinking what a clique it had become". It is too bad we couldn't keep it going. I do hope something starts up to organize all the Facebook groups that have sprung up and offer more of a coherent Crossfire club structure.

I certainly would be happy to pay reasonable dues to assist with the costs of creating and managing a resurrected CICCI. To members of the Facebook groups, anyone up to organizing one? I don't have the experience to get one started, but I would be very willing to assist wherever I could be of use.

I was a member. I just received a check in the mail for $6.43 with not much of a explanation.
Sorry to say I did not save the envelope etc.
