I bought a dog seat from petsmart that straps around the seat I used it in my Pacifica and now my Crossfire. It keeps my pup (Toy Poodle) above the console and she loves to have the view out of the window. She says wheeeeee just as much as I do when driving around..

I still regret not letting him ride in the car, a large towel on the passenger seat would've prevented any damage he could've done.
Our Cocka-poo loves the car and travels with me frequently. When travelling as a family she usually calls "shotgun" and I'm fine with that as it usually means there will be a pleasant conversation up front.
We have a pet harness seat belt to ensure she travels safely, and is kept back of the airbags after all, she is a member of the family.

Dakota is 195 #, Mercedes is 145 #
There are BOTH relegated to the 1990 Suburban IF they have to travel.
( to the vet and back is the only travel they get, other than their daily 1 mile walks )

I would think this certainly would be "only" for the smaller breeds....lol... I don't let fat chicks in my cars for the same reason....OK, let the hate mail begin...lol... But, common sense here... Rott's are probably not going to get a ride while the Boston Terrier does...just sayin'

Only beautiful, pretty women.
At my ripe age however, that includes just about any female willing to get in my car.

LOL....isn't that the truth.!!
My 80 lb Dobie is not allowed anywhere near my car. She is too clumsy to stay in the passenger seat anyway. Them little dogs, they aren't my kind of dog so pretty much, no, no dogs are allowed in my crossfire.
Our dogs is allowed in the car if he has a lap to sit on, or if I put his blanket down in the passenger seat. Still there are a few scratches here and there from his little paws. Accidents happen I suppose.
