Searched and could find any threads with cupholder solutions. Just mentions in other threads. Put your cup holder mods here.

Mine are beyond simple and most likely a repeat of other's previous efforts.

1. Walmart $1.96 cup holder mod. Come 4 to a pack for $1.96.
Install instructions.
-Remove cup holders from walmart shelf and place in cart.
-Pay for cupholders at register..unless you think you can run faster than the guy handing out stickers at the front door.
-Once at car, remove one cupholder, place remaining 3 in trunk as spares.
-Open glove box. Place hooked end of cupholder in glove box about 1.5" from the left hand side. Any closer to the left and the glove box will not shut.
-Shut glove box and enjoy!

This holds 20 oz bottles and 24 oz cups with no problem even during spirited driving. It holds my Circle K 440z mega bucket o'soda as well though it will lean a little in the twisties.

2. $4.96 dual Walmart Cup Holder mod
Okay, so one drink is not enough for a hot day, or if you have a passenge. So I needed another spot.
- Puchase the $4.96 dual cup holder from Wally World. This is the style with a change/phone holder in the middle between two cup holders. If has a long thin extension meant to slide between the passenger seat and the center console. For details on how to purchase form Walmart, see instructions step 1 and 2 from single cup holder mod above.
-Do not slide between the seat and console, although tempting it will negatively impact the passenger's thigh room. Plus it looks ghetto and out of place there.
- Instead slide it into the magazine holder between the seats on the back wall, hooking the top lip into the two umbrella holders. It's not as easy to access while driving, however at a stop you can easily reach behind you. Of course a passenger can access it anytime.



Any other mods out there?

 

My favorit cup holder.. Postion and mount wherever you can.. If you have to ask.. you can't afford it!

I did the #2 cupholder. I removed the hooks and permanently mounted it using 2 screws, the center pocket is great for a camera or a wallet

 

The cup holder just sitting in the bag, with two drinks, going thru the Dragon is not a good idea. Been there done that.

Almost 2 years ago, I came up with this mod ( https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...older-mod.html ) using the walmart double cup holder. Rock solid and sturdy!
