Default Auto Dimming Mirror

Besides the 2004 Crossfire and SLK-R170’s, what other Mercedes models have a compatible Auto Dim Mirror that can be fitted to a 05-08 Crossfire? Thanks in advance.

I have a 2004 Coupe and the Auto Dimming mirror started going south. I don't usually drive the car at night so got a clip on mirror that clips onto the cars mirror. It is some what bigger but looks A-OK I think it was about $16.00 at Auto Zone.

This isn't an auto dimming clip on though. Correct? If so first I've heard of one

No, not auto dimming. Like I said, I don't drive my XF at night so the dimming isn't needed.

VERY hard to tell, the pictures are way too small. Did you post thumbnail pictures or larger? If larger, something happened to them after you posted em.

Is that base (on the mirror) compatible with the Crossfire mount? Or are you going to replace that mount on your windshield? Can't tell from the angles. The one on the Crossfire is a semi clip-on, then turn to lock.

50$ They said if everything wasn’t up to par to my liking, they’d pay for shipping it back and refund me the money. I see them go for 25$-165$... 25$ was at a junkyard that had started to fade and the 165$ was on Ebay from a SLK 320. So we’ll see.

Also the write up on here stated that the base is a little different but that it will fit on the base of the 05-08’s.

Ok that’s what I like to hear. I’ve been looking for one of these at a reasonable price for awhile now. They originally wanted 65$, but told them I was taking all the risk of taking everything apart and rewiring things. It should be here in a couple of days. Waiting on the car to get back from the shop and then I’ll tackle this little project. I’ll keep you guys updated on the progress. Thanks again fellas
