I saw a gorgeous black SRT-6 coupe at the intersection of Schmidt Lake Rd and Northwest Blvd last night around 6:15. Was that anyone here?

Not me in my base black coupe - I was in Eden Prairie. But I was driving with my two granddaughters in my little yellow Aveo and saw a red coupe on Northwest Blvd on Tuesday at about 2:45. He had a mesh grille. We all waved at him!

Not me either. But in the beautiful small town of Faribault, well, actually one in Northfield on Sunday I saw a sweet SSB coupe, at the ABRA shop, being at least somewhat driven by a cute blonde, then a black LTD coupe pulling into a drive at a house on the outskirts of town, and last but not least a red roadster parked at the Mickey D's in N'field. All of course when I didn't have mine along. Anybody here own any of these?

It always seems I see Crossfires when I'm driving my stupid little Aveo! Anyway, how about all Minnesota and Wisconsin Crossfire owners getting together on Sunday July 19th or the 26th for lunch in Stillwater? Lets say around 1pm. I'm open to suggestions....there's a great restaurant where we can sit outside, park our beauties close by, have a beer, etc. How about it?

Thanks for putting this out there Win. I'd be up for that. I might make a suggestion that we pick another spot, unless there really is alot of parking there, only because I know how bad it gets in Stillwater on a really nice weekend. It's an ugly scene and we might not find each other for hours. Another suggestion could be Hastings or prescott WI, or perhaps Red Wing. Or taylors falls area. Just a thought given we have enough time to figure it out. Mark

Would love to join you all at any of the mentioned places. Got my 2007 Blk Limited coupe in Jan, and have had it on the road about 2 1/2 mos now. I should have all the 6 gears mastered by the time of a get together.

Hastings is OK for me too...Now, which date are we looking at? Should we plan for the 19th? Then, if it's crappy weather, we can try for the 26th? By the way, where in Hastings is good? There's a funky little bar downtown by the bridge as I recall...That would be inside. Is there a place outside?

Hastings is good and July 19 is better than the 26th for me.

Ok, so far Hastings is good and the 19th of July is good. How about the time - are we thinking about 1pm? And the place - are we thinking a nice restaurant that has a view of the river and the parking lot with our Crossfires sitting there? Any suggestions?

Yes to all of the above. I am not familiar with Hastings so no suggestions.

Count me in for the 19th as well- Hastings is a good starting point for some driving, as some buddies and I use to ride a lot of the curvy roads East of Prescott on motorcycles. There are some really nice winding river roads that go through some quaint small towns. Since I'm unemployed at the moment, I'll do some intell on the town of Hastings to find a good meeting place this coming week and get back to everyone.

Couple of thoughts - Nice restaurant with a good river view may not be possible in Hastings - IMO the best view is on the American Legion's patio (50 Sibley St, Hastings, MN‎), also good parking across the street. Second place would be Alexis Bailly winery ( 18200 Kirby Avenue Hastings MN) about a mile and a half outside of Hastings (however, about a 1/4 mile of unpaved road), again good parking. Looking forward to meeting the Minnesota group.

All Right! This is starting to come together. Looking forward to more suggestions. My wife and I visited the winery last fall - we loved it. How about a nice lunch in Hastings, a nice drive, and a wine tasting at the winery?

Hi folks - just a reminder about our tentative plans for a Hastings trip on the 19th. My wife and I will be taking the Crossfire up on the North Shore and into Canada from the 12th to the 17th. Then we should be all rested up for a nice trip to Hastings the following Sunday. Meet around 1pm at the Legion? Lunch, ride to the winery? Any other suggestions?

I plan on going. 1PM still allows me time for my tennis match. The winery should be interesting.

What a coincidence, I live about a block away from the legion. I have the only Crossfire that's parked downtown.

Can we get a show of hands as to how many of us will get together in Hastings on the 19th, I assume we'll me at the legion, but where is it, on Main St, right under the 62 bridge, have lunch there and then go to the winery. I'll be there, but i think we need a bit firmer on the plans, where and when and what and who. mark

The legion does have a good view of the river, however, if your a wine fan, the Mississippi Belle is a great place to go and they also have great food.
