Hello
Hello, I purchased my first 2004 crossfire the other day. On the drive home it sprung a leak in the fuel line....fun, fun, fun. 115 in the shade and I wasn't in the shade. Of course no way to get the part quickly and I didn't want to tow it, so I removed the part and took it to a parts store and had to buy a metal tubing fuel line part, cut it down, then cut the bad part from the leaking fuel line, slide the metal tubing in place and crimp it down on both ends. That worked.
Since then I ordered the part and am buying a few tools and tire fix.
Just saying hello and sharing my first experience but I also want to ask:
Can a standard oil change, tranny flush place be trusted to do my first fluid changes? I've never used dealerships.

Welcome to the forum
It sounds like your a handy person from what you described here repairing your fuel line
I imagine you can also do your fluid changes
Many owners here do their own service and maintenance and there is a lot of info shared here about the process to doing many maintenance services
Otherwise look for a European Automotive service shop to take care of your Crossfire
Chrysler is NOT the place to go as they no nothing about servicing a Crossfire

Hey guys! New crossfire owner (2006 coupe, manual) I was just wondering if there was anyone will to get rid of the trunk quarter panels and a few other interior parts. Of course I'm willing to cover all the fees and pay at fair price. I live in fort Myers area of Florida and would be stoked if anyone is near me. Would be willing to drive to you, if you're willing to part.

These cars require certain types of fluids.
The most recommended engine oil filter is Mann HU 718/5x fleece oil filter.
The manufacturer recommended engine oil is Mobil 1 European Car Formula 0W-40.
Transmission oil depends on weather it's a manual or an automatic. These can be found by using the search bar in the right corner.
It's not hard to these, but if you're going to have it done for you have an independent European shop do it as previously stated.
Good luck!

Your best bet to find the parts would be e bay, an online salvage yard, or you can place a "Wanted" ad in the forum's market place.

Good luck!
Congrats on your purchase of the 2004 Crossfire & welcome to our Forum. I took the liberty of checking to see what M-B Independent Repairs Shops were near Laughlin, NV.

Probably have some checking around to do. Find a shop that specializes in German makes.
