Any updates to the June cruise ideas?

Any goodie bag items from local companies?

I haven't made any plans for the June GTG yet because I have my end of year softball tournament that day. I am not sure what time it ends so I have held of trying to see what time and place might work. I'm thinking of a late afternoon time / early evening and still targeting some place over in the area I noted before. I'll try to send out a more definitive plan soon.

As far as local goodie bag stuff, I haven't had a moment to even try to contact my targets. I'm hoping to next weekend.

Any updates on advance registration?

Thanks for the update. Anyone else working on local items for the goodie bags?

I've got a couple boxes of items from the National companies.

Status for this weekend - -Unlikely. Let me know who is going well and if my family says go.. I'll skip fathers day.

Likely, I won't see people until Carlisle at this point. The 21st is our end of year softball tournament which could go all day, so unless the schedule allows for a late afternoon departure for me to meet up with those available, I'm out.

Regarding our show: I've checked in with the winery. I've submitted the donation app to Wegmans for the water and goodie bag items. I'm going to check in with some local vendors about our show over the coming days. Hope to get some items for raffle or goodie bags. More later.

Here is the address for the ghost ryderz show this Sunday.

Pep Boys 7311 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie, MD 21061

The show starts at 8am. Meet at the Burger King across the street from the pep boys before 7:30am. We will drive into the show between 7:30 and 8:00, just depends on traffic going into the show.

Happy Fathers Day Guys.

I have the water approved again for this years show. I also met with Mike at the winery on Friday. We are all set.

Unfortunately for me, I have to cut my vacation show short to make it back for our show. I'll be in Hilton head and have to drive back Friday to make our show. I may need some help with a couple things. We can chat at Carlisle.

Hope you all have a great day.

Not to change the subject; but does anyone have a container that I may have left somewhere (it's small) that has a bunch of electrical stuff in it? I am definitely getting senile!

OK guys and gals, I'm pulling the trigger and finally getting the Needswings DCAI and Mercedes Engine cover from Rob at Needswings.

Not sure when it will come in but definitely not likely to be before Carlisle. Hopefully can get it and have the time to install before our Show.

Who did the install on there's? Any insight to time and tricks? I know Rob's info says about 1.5 hours but thought I'd ask.

I put mine on myself my biggest problem was replacing power steering line. Make sure you get the correct fluid. Could be a little different with NA less parts to get around up front when replacing lines.
Talk to Wyatt I know he put his on himself.

Paul, Are you doing a Dual? I put a single on a couple weeks back. Only problem was removing the stock plastic piece on the passenger side. Are you doing the 74mm TB also. BTW, I bought an engine cover (A112 010 01 67) on E-Bay for $85.00.

Yes, I'm doing the dual. I love the symetrical look of it. I worked out a deal with Rob at Needswings for a discount so I'm effiectively getting a new cover, special cut and adapted for the set up for $150.

I've decided not to do the 74mm TB. I've heard it can cause codes to be thrown and I'm just not willing to deal with it for the little extra it may provide to the engine. I already have a Eruocharged tune so I'll be getting that updated to account for the DCAI modification. The retune is free for me. All said and done I should be sitting at about 255 HP based on the mods. This will be it for me in the process to gain more HP. Any additional mods will be visual or auditory in nature.

What plastic piece are you refering to?

Thanks, Paul

Yup. I already emailed them to get the update instructions and give them a heads up.
