Talking Chrysler Nationals

On the weekend of July 8-10 2005, the East Coast Chrysler Nationals will be held at Carlisle, PA.
EVERY kind of MOPAR you could think about seeing will be there.
I drove up last year with the DC/VA/MD Dodge Viper Group (see my YAHOO folder below) and there were @10 Crossfires there, HEMI Chargers, Super Birds, etc., plus a million PTz.
Lets blow them away this year by attending on Saturday (9th)!!!

Yea, I know there are lots of SRT6 shots, but remember this was the FIRST time most of us had even seen one!!!

I would love to go. I will try to get off of work but I'm not going to hold my breath. Chances are I will have to sit this year out. I will try to plan accordingly next year...

I was also already entertaining the idea of going this year, so count me in I am about 85% sure that I can make it.

Here is the skinny from Ron, our Main MOPAR MAN!!!
owner of...
a 200? DURANGO
a 2005 Alabaster Crossfire Roadster
AND a brand spanking new 2005 Yellow VIPER Roadster (just sold his Yellow GTS VIPER)
AND AND...ANOTHER VIPER "Project Car" in his BAD Garage!!!

"You and any Crossfires and any other Mopar guys are more than welcome to
join our convoy to Carlisle. If we hold to last year's plan, we'll meet at
the Urbana I-270 Park and Ride at 6:00-6:30 am, with a projected 6:35 am
departure."

Talk about making an entry!!!

The Durango is a 1999. Leading the pack last year I don't think I exceeded 80. JD, you must have fallen behind a bit as we accelerated down the entrance ramp onto I-270, and then you were a naughty boy catching up! In any convoy, the guys in the back have all the fun. Let's shoot for at least 7 or 8 Vipers and 3 or 4 Xfires in the convoy this year.

I would love to join your convoy, but I live up north and can't see driving down there to meet up. If you know of a place closer to the Nationals, I would meet you there. I guess other xfires from up here might do the same.

Okay, Debbie and I are registered. Now, tell me where Urbana is, so I can plan what time we have to leave here.
