Thanks for the specs! Thinking about it I could probably run the same setup on both cars. That'd be pretty sweet.

Using them on both would be convenient. These were on Steve SLK32, my Crossfire, and now the CL.

As for my tire selection, I like them since I can drive to the track on them and not really worry about it raining.

At the track, I prefer the Hoosier DR's over the M/T ET Street.... on the street however, the ET streets do not require as much heat as the Hoosiers and hook better without a John Force burnout

I have found the same thing with the Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials (there is also an ET Street bias-ply). They do not require much of a burnout. Too long of a burnout and they get greasy. If I DRIVE to the track, they are typically up to temp already.

I was telling Steve today that I'm going to try them without a burnout next time. Too much of a mess with a burnout, and I believe I read somewhere exactly what you guys just stated (little to no burnout required).

E/T Street radial is what I was talking about, not bias-ply. I should have been more clear. Thanks monkey!
And sorry for the margin rape, but the Hoosier DR's love heat!

If you don't want anything for them, I'll certainly take them. Remember, I'm cheap and broke.

I'm cheap and practical. Keep the stock plugs. If and when you have trouble, change them. I'm on stock plugs … still, and my car is running great.
