Is the n/a kit even worth the money with say cai and tune? Haven't been able to find much on anything but boosted cars. Well with the exception of some hillbilly with a "diy" kit on an old Dakota playing ac/dc in he background lol.

yea and the nice thing is, if you're running an AEM FIC, or an EMS you don't need a controller as all of aem's ecu's and piggybacks will run their pumps as a controller based off of rpm, load, tps, etc and it monitors line pressure and tank level. If the pump fails it will revert to a non-meth tune, etc.

Most companies basically use a shur-flo pump, which is a switching style pump, which causes the pulses everytime the pistons complete a cycle. AEM's is a recirculation pump with a bypass, so theres no pulsing as the pump runs higher than 250psi but anything above that is recirculated, eliminating the pulses

Meth injection serves 0 purpose on an NA car. Its used with FI applications to lower intake charge to allow for more ignition timing and higher boost. I've personally seen people make 150+ extra hp with meth and appropriate tuning on pump gas.

Since NA cars run intake temps very close to ambient, the most you'd see is probably a 10 degree drop or so (can't really say for sure, as no one has wasted the time to truly test meth on an NA car, as far as I know) every 3 degree drop in air temp is 1hp, so baseline... 400-600 for a kit plus labor to install (if you're mechanically retarded) puts you around 800 dollars for a baseline 4hp increase. I can think of much better and more efficient power adders for 800 dollars.

The only issue with the AEM kit is cost. 1 gallon tank kit is 417, monitor is another 264, plus you really need a filter - 27, plus if you want the flow gauge its another 210.
