Thanks 180
I read that late on his post after I had submitted mine.Would you have any ideal where I could find one cheap?Recently got car.love it.The price of this part is mind blowing.Car going crazy.Starts when it wants.Needs boost that works at times.Seems circuit is open at times, with no door locks.Removed pump, well had water in it.Which I drained.Removed pump allowed to dry ,sprayed and cleaned plugs. No luck..I've read lots of these trends, before joining site where you seemed very knowledgeable and helpful especially with us newbies. .I would appreciate any feed back on this matter. Thanks in advance.

If the electrical plugs on the wiring harness going to the pump have been damaged by the water then you must buy the plugs as well, there is not much chance of the pump working if the plugs have bad contacts.
Some suppliers just sell the pump, but others cut the wires and you get the plugs as well. If you just buy the pump and it still fails to work in some capacity you will not know if it is the pump or the plugs. You will have to cut off your old plugs and splice in the new lugs or at least those that are damaged.
This is the eBay site using the part number. CLICK

I replaced my central locking vacuum pump recently, but my alarm won't sound when I try to press the panic button on the key FOB, OR when I lock the car from the inside and open the door; NOR will the exterior lights flash.

I hear a sound coming from the new pump when I try to activate it by locking the car from the inside and opening the door, but no alarm sounds.

Everything else is fine, and the tow light on the dash is finally blinking red.

I also replaced the alarm recently, so I doubt that's the problem.

Any advice? Thanks in advance!
