I had a chance to hit the local 1/8 mile track to kick of the new year. I still haven't got a tune but wanted to see what I could do with the new tires and better traction. I was able to pull an 8.09 @87.62mph. I was trying hard to break into the 7's but just not today, lol. The 285 Proxies definitely helped with traction. I think I even launched 1800rpm with no problem. Of course EVERYONE was at my car, either figuring out what it was, or just amazed that it was that fast. The viper next to me couldn't break an 8.1 and went home after an 8.4, nice guy though. i am getty and can't wait to have her tuned. I checked and with this kind of time, I should be 12.5 1/4 territory, but doubt our 1/4 track will hook as well... we will see soon.

yeah, I can't wait to drop my 1/4 time with these decent tires. Of course I won't be any competition to what you have going on but maybe I can **** talk some locals for ya and see who turns out, lol.
