Damn those Honda Civic Type R's. There were five drivers at this event. Also, the Subaru WRX Sti beat me at this event. My best was 44.4. The fastest Honda was 40.9. Lots of work to do.

 

Enjoy the ride, but it is hard to compete with young blood; In formula 1 they are as young as 18 now and retirement is like 30. Maybe shave off the beard and color your hair black.; I've heard it said black is the fastest color! Seriously just kidding. I'm in the same decade as you and it ain't like it use to be! 2018 Civic Type R's are quick. I have the same mods as you except I run the AMG front sway bar, KYB shocks and alternate between Federal RS-RR and Bridgestone RE71R. Evo school Friday. See if it helps. Considering moving up to next class with adjustable suspension and Vogtland springs. Pretty much running out of options to go faster. Also considering 2018 BRZ Limited with Performance package and Jackson Racing Supercharger. What tire pressures are you running for autox? I have been running 30psi front and 28psi rear with rear sway bar disconnected. Seems to rotate better.

 

No contest with the Civic Type Rs. And the club that I autocross with has last year's SCCA national champion in D Street as well as his wife, who is just as fast. Their times are with A Street times.

What kind of times do you run vis a vis the Type Rs? I never considered disconnecting the rear sway bar. Is it legal?

I run 35 psi front and 33 psi rear. The roll over is consistently to the markers on the tires.

I haven't run since March. Need to get back to it. Keep in touch.

 

Times from our event...#1 is running a Ford Focus RS...second at nationals 2018...arggh…the Mini that beat me is running adjustable shocks all four corners, adjustable camber all four corners, and an engine tune (I protested)...unbolting rear sway is legal, have to leave on car...zip ties...test in parking lot or Test-n-tune first before running on track...it changes the rotation of the car considerably...off to Romulus (?) Seneca Military Base for Evo this Friday...maybe they can help...I will share...
