How do you replace a broken ashtray... you dont.

If it wont stay closed you simply tip the front out till it catches the console edge.

My money holder (ashtray) stopped staying closed after a holiday and handing out change to homeless in the area.
Didnt want the thing sitting open while I was shopping and convertible top is always down .... so my instant fix on the spot worked great.
I like your permanent fix, and will make similar repairs soon.

If anyone wants to fix your ashtray so that it works, shoot me a email. I have 3D printed the part that breaks and it is a very easy fix that anyone can do. My email is wchesnut911@yahoo.com.
