what is the wifi
My flip phone is so old I think is still has a dial on the face.
I have dropped it more than once from a 12 ft ladder. Until last month it worked like when it was new.
I dropped it on the driveway as my wife drove away. Three foot drop but a 4,000 LB car.
The replacement is pretty and has a host of new toys on board. But it works like crap. I miss that old black clunker.
The wife gets every newfangled gadget coming out. Before I get a chancre to figure out how to answer her phone, she gets another one. She used to sit in the passenger seat, talk to me whilst holding my beer. Now she is absorbed in texting and games.
Me, I have a cell phone so I can TALK to folks. Period!

If you dont know what's wifi, you better not try to understand, just connect and keep going with ur daily life, because having alot of answers will make your life get worse coz you gonna keep asking more weird questions and things will get harder and harder so that would lead to depression... Anyway enjoy your simple life as it is
I took a look at Wikipedia, and if someone was trying to search for wifi and wants to understand, Wikipedia aint making it simple, a lot of technical words that would make u feel dizzy and quit reading and start hating yourself, please read here : Wikipedia About Wifi
He asked 6 months ago about the symbol at the top that looks like a wifi antenna, not about actual WiFi, the vBLive function of the site. (At least that is how I remember it, if not, oops.)
you are 100% correct that is what and why i ask what it is. I though maybe i could get on line with that wifi. LOL on me. well at least i learned how to operate my flip phone .

JIM, with a v-8 XF, you don't need to worry about WIFI. But just for the hell of it, when you see the people around you at the track with a stem hanging out of their ears, talking to someone. That ear piece connects to the phone by WIFI. When people talk in their cars, usually thru the speakers in the newer cars, your phone connects by WIFI. It is a way to connect to other devices, and get on the internet thru a router. Good luck my friend. If I can get down your way, we will do phone science at a high rate of speed.

WiFi connects the cell to internet hot spots, nothing to do with actual phone conversations.
.
You don't have the Wi-Fi calling feature yet? You're cell minutes take a nosedive when you have it.
