I want to see just how fast my SRT6 will run. How do you turn the Top speed limiter off. I have topped out at 161 and I feel it will go a lot faster. Please help. I want to make it FLY!

 

You don't.
You have to get the ECU re-programmed to remove the speed limiter.

 

FYI - You can't actually have the speed limiter "Removed" only raised to 200MPH - there must be some digits programmed in the ECU and 200MPH is the max. That's fast enough for me (or at least for my tires)

Might as well have the RPM limiter raised at the same time.

BTW - the factory setting on the speed limiter is 155MPH

maybe he meant in the last gear with the RPMs at readline it would be below 200mph? so the transmission is limiting it by not having another gear? i dunno jsut guessing
