Default Gas Gauge Red Bar Issue

你好,

I recently became a fellow XF owner and have a question regarding the gas gauge. On my XF the red bar to signal 1/6 tank does not light up like the rest of the red lines in the instrument cluster. I imagine it is supposed to, but am looking for confirmation. Thank you for your time and consideration.

The actual Gauge including the "E" is all green.
There is a red mark just above the "E" but the red does not light up.

If you read post #6 in the above thread, it say HIS lights up when it's almost empty.

BUT, it's a bad practice to let your tank get that empty-it can lead to early fuel pump failure.

SO I can't tell you one way or the other as I've never been below 1/3 of a tank!

I did read that but I have run very low and the red didn't illuminate.
Only the gas low indicator lit. (the little gas pump) in yellow.
