Ok back on topic.

Anyone who's passionate enough to reallly want this to happen (!omg!) doesn't have the money to burn just to experiment.
its not the money part that concerns me even though yes i really don't wanna drop like 10 g's on this but i am worried if my car will run after.
i really hope a company like vortech or others just comes out with a kit but seems like they don't think there is a demand for it or something which i disagree with.

The only thing the guy did to run his M113 at 8psi boost was basically slap a supercharger on the engine and tune with a rising-rate FMU. I don't know how much more simple one can get, and the car runs...$10,000 is totally unnecessary.
Now, if you have no idea how to tune the thing, then you'll probably blow your engine, but if that's what you're worried about my friend, then you are asking the wrong question...
i don't know if you read my thread before about turbo zone this place near me he is very convinced he can do a single turbo run like 7 psi 8psi and tune it i just don't know if this guy realizes there is no software. I just don't see how he would do it, he works on vettes an mustangs and other domestics previously owned a shop called z06 shop. I don't know it was just a tempting offer for $4,500 dollars out the door tuned i just wouldn't him to get half way through and realize he can't do the electronics part and all that. and i will look into maxwells thread.

Apparently the stock software will adjust itself well enough to allow an FMU to work.
FMU's are usually band-aids for a lack of fuel, IMHO, but in this case it appears that they will work.

Exactly! For example, a "top of the line" FMU costs $250:

Now, I personally wouldn't run an FMU. I would go to a piggyback system, SRT6 injectors, with boost retard + knock detection, but still the solutions are out there for less than $1,000 in electronics.
