Check engine light came on.
Frank you are welcome at our place anytime. Lots of room. Debbie would be more than happy to put a few miles on it for you

They found the problem with the check engine light on (code PO453) to be a corroded connection on the fuel tank. They cleaned and lubed the connector. Was very pleased with the service and gave me a new vehicle to drive overnight. When I get the new siren installed I'll let you know if the car chirps. I supplied them with the new part number for the siren which members state chirps.
Bad news, met Gary & Ann (Rapp's Yellow CF) for dinner Saturday in Ann Arbor, about a 40 minute drive and on the way up no check engine light. Got back in the car to head home and as soon as we started it bang the light popped back on. I guess it's off to the dealer again.
Just got back from taking my car in to dealership and the tech still seems to think the light comes on due to the corrosion at the connector/terminal at the gas tank. He is going to replace both the high pressure sensor terminal/sensor and the connector. He went to check availability of both and the Chrysler parts computer stated that neither item were available. He said they will have to contact Chrysler to see when they will be available. He also stated the sensor connector was only available as part of a large harness but would cut and splice it to the current harness if not he would have to disassemble most of the rear portion of the car to install the new harness. I'm starting to get a little worried about this since he is not even sure if this would fix the problem. He did call Chrysler tech support and they advised him to start with this since he could visible see the corrosion. I'll keep you updated as it progresses.

I did a search on the forum and it seems a few members have had to get the assembly replaced for the same reason.
