Since Mr. Norris is basically creating this, what if those components fail? I didn't know if warranties usually come with aftermarket parts.
Obviously it would void the manufacturer warranty..
I'm a newbie to mods and such.
So it sounds like your hoping this kit would bring the power up to a stock SRT??
car warrantys suck anyway, doesnt it seem like everytime you take it in they just try to find loopholes anyway. i havent had a warranty actually fix something since my floor mats didnt fit. -_-. and this economy makes them twice as stingy.
Supercharger warranty will be through my supplier. With a 150,000 mile service interval there shouldn't be any problems. I'll take care of my customers as far as the other parts and electronics are concerned.

do you have any idea or date you are shooting for to release the parts or have a sell date. Also what about a manual transmission anything special we will have to do
Realistically I don't expect a sale before March 1st. There is a lot to putting a quality package together and I don't want to have any reliability issues with any parts.
On a side note if there is anyone out there looking for a new Z06
Corvette send me a pm. I have a Black/tan 3LZ with 19 miles on it.

I think this is the smartest move yet, for a performance part of the crossfire market, as the SRT6 following is way too small a group to even make a decent profit from, while having to pay an employee, suppliers, machinist, etc.... the N/A performance crowd will be a real gravy train if this can hold 150k reliable miles.
After the NA crossfire crowd, it's just a skip and a jump over to the MBZ folks, and they probably have more money to burn.

i was thinking about getting a MB cold air intake by tvt kinda like this
http://www.tvtdesign.com/inc/sdetail/1059
but i am wanting to save all my performance mod money for the supercharger and see no point in getting any upgrades as i won't be able to use an NA mods with this. So while i am waiting is there anything i can get to boost my power and not waste money by not being able to use these parts when i get the supercharges. I think even the K&N filter between limited and srt-6 is different. if i got a K&N filter would i be able to use it with the supercharger or would we need a different filter once we bolt on the supercharger. I guess the only thing i could use would be the magnaflow exhaust and with that we get no performance but a loud noise lol. i am wanting to get the most bang for the buck and the supercharger is the answer. i hope chuck norris can sell it on the down low so we get a great deal, but i want it to be fair and he should be paid for his time and efforts.

what mods can we do to the supercharger to increase output will a new larger pulley help like in the case of the srt-6. is there like a stage 2 supercharger we can use versus the one that is currently being tested, what can we do about heat socked and what intercooler will be best. since we can build this from the ground up and we know the issues with the srt setup maybe we can spend a slight bit more to get a better kit and more reliable.
Mr.norris are you willing to sell the kits in pieces for people who already have a supercharger, or want to upgrade certain parts and choose different manufacture. Also will this work with a manual or does there seem to be an issue. Lastly will this be compatible with all years and all trims i am sure they didn't make many changes to the engine but want to confirm.

THe ONLY part that will swap back and forth between the two engines that you can buy aftermarket would be a nitrous kit.
So if you want more performance now, buy a nitrous kit.
BC.
i was thinking about nitrous but instead of spending $500 and filling the bottle like no other to feed my urge, i would rather save that money and put it towards the supercharger which gives me unlimited amounts of power all the time versus spending lots of money every so often to fill up the bottle. i guess i am gonna concentrate on other things like i just bought a new panasonic cd player to work with handsfree bluetooth and ipod. Thursday i am having a viper 5901 2 way remote start, keyless, alarm installed in my manual 6spd. I am saving all my performance mods for the supercharger.
the Eaton SC has many upgrades available, which is why it's genius to select it for the crossfire. it's extremly cheap and easily rebuilt.
there are versions that have larger intake porting, and many pulley upgrades also. so mr. chuck doesn't have to R&D too many parts. which equals low cost for us.
if this works out well, I might have to buy an older 4 door Benz. keep up the good work Chuck!

I'm glad some of you are getting excited about the car. I remember when I first saw it. I thought, they'll never make that car. I just hope I can make the car perform as good as it looks.
