Midrange from about 3200 rpm on up to around 5000 is simply beasty as compared to before. Wondering now if the larger TVT injectors will help out the low end
The different sound you hear is your new intake. When you buy the injectors buy them bigger then 19lbs per hr. 19 was to small for me!

Problem! throttle reset is not coming (as a thread tittle) up on the search! I don't have the time to read every thing in there. Can some one post the instructions here? You know as part of the instal steps

Here ya go Paul

Throttle Reset Procedure

Turn the key to the on (not start) position, the position just before the starter turns over.

Press the gas pedal to the floor with the key in the "on" position.

Hold the pedal to the floor for five seconds, then turn the key back
to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas
pedal.

Wait 2 mins. for a full alignment.

Drive the car as you always do.

Key on, pedal down, 5 sec, key off pedal up, wait 2 minutes.

Keep the key in the entire time.

Our Stage 1 injectors, when tuned properly, are good for up to 300 crank HP.

We do sell larger of course.

I didn't think so either but I suppose it's like a plug and play sorta thing, the system has to learn there's something new or different. Technology is such a wonderful thing !

My car is nowhere modded as heavy as yours and the gain from the TB and CAI tho modest, it's definetly noticable.

Dude it's been in the 90's all week, we're not that far down the road from Waco !

Something is odd about that picture. The butterfly valve looks like it offset to the bottom of the pic in the TB. Note what looks like a taper seat at the top edge of the valve.

Question: Does that TB really have a large opening that tapers down right at the butterfly like it looks? Or is it just an optical illusion?

Sorry, it just looks off to me.

Need to get your specs checked Mike !!! JK ing !
The picture is deceiving, but no.....the throat is not tapered. It's just has more of a polished look down near the butterfly.

Very nice pic. At the rate requests are coming in we should just create a "Most Wanted" poster and hang it in recycling yards.

Does anyone have the Mercedes and Bosch reference number off the TVT 74 mm TB?

I looked at my stock TB this weekend and measured the opening at ~3" = 75 mm.......however it is narrower at the plate and looks like it could be machined down to the same size as the opening and fitted with a 74mm plate......

Maybe TVT can tell us whether he is selling a Mercedes TB (p/n would be helpful) or machining stock TBs?

I believe that the opening is around 68 MM stock but can be machined to 74 MM. When I went to order my TB TVT had already run out of available units for sale (That's what I get for not pulling the trigger when I first thought about it). However I went a different direction and got one that has been machined to 74MM by AMS from over on MBW.

I worked with Omey (AMS Owner) to get mine but I think even his supply has dried up as well; hence Anthony's "Most Wanted" statement. The AMS route was a bit more expensive than TVT but I did not want to go without (I'm selfish that way) . If you would like I can take a look and give you the casting number on my AMS unit if you think that will help...

I can tell you that I am still holding onto my stock TB waiting for some other "Goodies" so I know of at least one stock TB that will be available to be modified from AMS soon.

Stay Safe...

Respectfully,

Paul (MisterTaz)

Just get one for an 05 S500.

The 08 E350 will fit as it is the same as the one on our engine, size and all.

Next time we get one in we'll get the part number, we just never have them in for longer then an hour or so.

So I'm assuming the E350 TB is only 68mm? There was a S500 TB on ebay but the guy told me it wouldn't fit on the XF
