Default radiator fan / control module

After reading numerous posts on engine coolant light issue, I discovered the fan was DOA.
The fan or the module seem to be at fault - fuse is ok by battery

I jumped out the fan to 12v and it checked out fine
found a used control module and installed yesterday.
That seemed to fix the problem as fan worked and coolant light went out today coolant light returned and no fan.

How can i test the control module before I go get another one?
Is there a cross reference to our part #05102818aa

Go to section 7.1 of the Crossfire service manual and all is revealed.
You will need a good multimeter and the ability to use it which is not hard.
http://www.majormotorshotrods.com/_d...ice_Manual.pdf
If you haven't already done so, download and save the whole manual to your computer.

There are spare fuses in the fuse box, one for every size in there, up to 40 amp.
A 50 amp fuse where is it found?
Fuses can be found at auto parts stores.

small fuse box next to battery - holds 2 - 50 amp and 1 - 200 amp
already checked 2 auto stores
I swapped the 50 amp from hydraulic unit (traction)
and fan kicked in
Oddly, there is no mention of these fuses in owners manual or not under fuses anyway

Could also be the SCR in the fan module.
