They are about $150 for the part and maybe a half hour install in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing.
Wow you guys are a ton of help! Thanks!
Glad we can help. This forum is an information highway and has helped us all! I still have yet to replace mine which will eventually fail, especially all the track time I am putting in. Changing the SC oil this weekend.
when the car is cold ,, the SC works fine ,,once hot if the pump is bad the SC will drop out because the IAT is to hot and the ecu protects the engine,, pump is iasy to replace once done SC should stay ingaged and 90 is no problem. jim
Hi, I just purchased a used Srt-6 less than a week ago. I suspect I may have this "intercooler pump" problem you guys are referring to as my supercharger only kicks in sometimes. (Lets say several times in the same trip I floor it from a standstill, sometimes it will kick in and rocket forward, other times it just gradually accelerates.) Is this a sign that the "intercooler pump" is going bad?
Also, I talked with the Crossfire certified technician at the Chrysler dealerhsip about it and he said that there is no intercooler pump because superchargers don't have intercoolers like turbochargers do. Is this correct? I looked at the repair manual and i don't see anything about intercooler pumps in there. I do see a "charge air cooler circulation pump". Is that the part everyone is referring to?
Thanks for your help!

Lol. That might not be a bad idea, but it doesn't answer my questions. Is intermittent supercharger performance a sign that the pump is going bad? And is the charge air cooler circulation pump what everyone is referring to when they say intercooler pump?

'Is intermittent supercharger performance a sign that the pump is going bad'
Once the vehicle gets hot, and the pump is not working, the supercharger will not work 'til the temps come down, thus making the supercharger intermittent
'is the air cooler circulation pump what everyone is referring to when they say intercooler pump'
Yes
The tech you talked to does not know his @rse from his elbow, as I assure you there's an intercooler hiding under the supercharger
