line lock for burn out and launching
Anyone install line lock for drag burn outs and/or launcing? If so where is a good location? Any problems with error codes etc...?

You dont really need a line lock to do a burnout but it sure makes it easier. For better results, remove the 50A ABS pump fuse.

thanks guys, I am trying to save my rear brake pads from the cheese grater (slotted and crossdrilled) rotors as well as have more controlled burn outs at the track, without linelock the car drifts to the side to much for my comfort yet manageable. I don't have DOT's yet but I imagine this problem will be worse.
I make a half a dozen passes or more per week on Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials. I don't have problems going through rear brake pads. It doesn't take much brake pedal pressure to hold the car
The car doesn't walk sideways when doing burnouts either, burnouts and launches are pretty straight. I DO HAVE a Wavetrac rear end and that probably helps quite a bit. At 0* rear toe I found the rear wandered back and forth a little under hard acceleration with the drag radials. I adjusted it back in to just 1/32 toe-in and that was all it took to keep it solid.
