Convertible top does not work
I own a 2007 roadster limited. I was putting the car in storage october of 2011 when I suspended the top for more than 10 minutes for cleaning purposes. The top now will not work at all and will not go down. The light on the switch flashes quickly with no tones. The top is locked. The owners manuel states that I need to put top down in the open position to re-initialize the top cycle. I am unsure on how to do this because the top is locked onto the tonneau cover and the tonneau cover is locked. How do I unlock the top and cover safely and is the proper procedure? Also, once the top is down, how do I re-initialize system. Thank you.

Make sure the trunk divider panel is in the "top down" position.
1. release the interior top latch and raise the top up about 6".
2. unlatch the rear window bow by opening the trunk and using a 5mm hex wrench on the lock.
3. raise the window bow and unlatch the tonneau with the special tool or a thin 10mm wrench in the front center slot.
4. raise the tonneau and have someone hold it up. Manually and CAREFULLY lower the top into the trunk.
5. lower and latch the tonneau with the special tool / 10mm wrench.
I have never heard of "re-initializing the system"
Maybe disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait 5 minutes ?

I think I will try disconnecting battery first. I did disconnect the fuse specifically for the hydraulic system and that did not change anything. I hope it is that simple being electonic and not hydraulic. Will let you know if that changes anything. Thank you. George V
Thank you for your suggestions. Both tools were in the center counsel of the car. I was able to unlock the top and cover and put top down and relock the cover. Re-initializing the hydraulic system is just a matter of pushing the top botton down twice and holding it for a few seconds with the ignition on. This procedure was in the owner manuel. The top works perfectly. Thanks again. George V.
