Default Idle adjustment

Is there anyway to adjust the idle speed? My roadster seems to idle slow thus causing an occassional stalling at a signal light. It idles in drive at 300 RPMs. In park it will idle at 500 rpm's. That just seems to be a tad slow in my opinion but do not know for sure. Any help out there would be much appreciated.

I sold my automatic, but it sounds too low. I believe idle speed is set in the ECU.

Your post kinda makes me wonder if you don't have filthy injectors.

And maybe matching air filters?

Chevron makes a very good cleaner.. about 8 bucks for a bottle.. but did wonders on a rough idling olds intrigue ..

Vacuum and intake manifold leaks affect idle speeds.

As anyone can see, the consensus is that an "idle adjustment" is not in order... fixing what is wrong is!

Ya just gotta figure out what is wrong!

When I retired I had to do an idle adjustment, I found it was quite easy. Mind you I had been practicing for years.
