3rd Brake light not working
Hi Guys
Anyone have any idea why the rear window brake light may not be working, I have searched threads but all seem to be about getting it fixed. The lamp is new when I purchased the car 7 months ago so I don't suspect the led strip. All other brake lights work just not the 3rd rear window one. Thanks.

OK, I have check the 3rd light with 12 volts and it comes on fine so obviously there is a loose connection somewhere, are there any obvious places. Also does the 3rd lamp wiring come straight off one of the back brake lights because if so that would be a short route to check. Night time here now and getting dark so will probably carry on checking in the morning so any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
Just moved this from Electronics Thread as realised I may have put it originally in the wrong place. Sorry.

Seems I have put this in the wrong place again onehundred80 !!
Anyway not to worry seems that the garage that replaced the lamp just before I purchased it joined the two cables together (why I don't know) and did a terrible solder repair right in the middle of the rubber housing between the tailgate and car which had come apart.
Off to shops to get some new wire and hopefully can pull it through and re solder where it does NOT flex. Idiots, and they were a so called prestige repair shop down in Victoria.

Pizzaguy and onehundred80 you are both so right. All repaired properly now and solder joined near the connector at the light and behind the left trunk covers by wheel arch. Blimey was that cover hard to get back in !!!!!!
