Oil filter seal...

Default Oil filter seal...

Hey everyone,

I have a slight leak where the oil filter seal is...is that O-ring designed to be inside that housing? I put it on the very top edge. Do I need to replace it?

Yes, it sits in the groove.

I would recommend replacing that o ring. But really you need to look at it very close before reusing. See pic:

I solved it! I had it a groove too high! Leak fixed! Thanks for the help!
