First Performance Mod
Just got my Needswings Single CAI today. It was in the box for approximately 5 minutes before I tore into it and installed it. Took my time and enjoyed it. Nice quality stuff and the install was easy. Too bad it's rainy and 32 deg here today, so I really couldn't play around any. Did get a chance to push it a little in third, sounds nice and feels like it has more pep. Plus, Rob at Needswings is a great guy to work with. Tune is next. I hope that Eurocharged will be offering a special on their tune sometime Spring/Summer.

One of the first things you will notice with the CAI is that you can tell a real difference when the ambient air is cold or hot. That is because the CAI amplifies what your engine can do and the colder, dense air will make it a rocket on the right days. After the EU tune, you will realize what the Crossfire could have been had Chrysler moved forward with the car's design.
Have you installed a sprint booster yet? Until you do, you must do the throttle reset at least once a month for optimum performance.

Yeah, from everything I have been reading here it seems the NA benfits quite a bit from opening up the intake path. I haven't installed the sprint booster yet but I have been doing the throttle resets, easy enough to do. I'm saving my pennies for the HP stuff first, ie next the tune. Then after that do things like sprint booster and oil catch can. I think that's really all I want to do to the car, I don't race it but I do like to go through the Blue Ridge Parkway playing with some of those corners and enjoying spectacular scenery. I really enjoy the cornering ability of this car, and I think she's a beauty!
74mm throttle bodies are around $100 on Ebay that will open up the intake path even more.
Being in Guam I get my best performance during a light drizzle, it's 80f everyday so my intake temps are around 115F, this car really comes alive once the temps get below 90!

HWY 228/250 out of Stauton runs up thru Durbin and past Barton ****
HWY 33 from Harrisburg to Elkins
Both, very scenic and challenging roads, almost to the degree of the NC/TN 129 Dragon.
And with higher legal speed limits.
Two of my favorites but hardly all of what you have in Virginia. And then there is West Virginia.
have funad don't wreck it!
