Hmm.. do you let the fuel pump spool up and stop before hitting the starter? You can hear it running..

Having dealt with a bad cps.. it "autocranks" for a few seconds then quits trying..

I’m not sure what your saying. I put the key in I turn it once to the right to acc position than again to the right to the on position I hear something going on than after it stops I turn to start position it was starting up than it was the same issue as before.

it turns over fine. It just has issues starting up Than I feel like it’s flooded. Then after a few minutes I’ll try again sometimes it starts right up and sometimes same thing happens.

Mileage? New plugs @ 100K? You will probably get other "try this" suggestions.. but if it runs fine other than getting it started.. I'll suggest Chevron Techron "as directed" on the bottle.. 1/4 tank of fuel and add. Not impossible injectors leaking down and giving you the "flooded" sensation..

Flooded (?) or no fuel?
I'm thinking the fuel relay may be going out.
You can check the RCM to see if the relay is closing or shoot something flammable (carb cleaner, starter fluid) into the intake and see if it will start/run then.
Any codes?
