Blower Motor

Default Blower Motor

Gang

When I turn off my Crossfire Coupe, the blower motor continues to run, until the battery is depleted (then the car won’t start without a boost. I saw a bunch of threads about the Blower Motor Resistor pack. If it’s bad, would that make sense that the blower motor fan would continue to run?

Yes. Yank the fuse and order the "resistor" (Which is not a resistor, it's a PWM regulator, but no one cares)

Thanks for the info. Looks like the part on Amazon doesn’t ship to Canada. I found an Ultra-Power RU567 at RockAuto for $45.00 CND. Looks pretty simple to replace.

Fortunately I'm a small guy. Pulled the panel off last year to deal with the electric seat relay (solder fix).
