Hello Emery this is great news , So what I am reading is this is just for a key no remote. What I wanted was a replacement transponder to replace the transponder that fell out of one of my factory remotes . May I ask what it costs to have these services ? as we had learned this is not by any means cheap ?? thanks again for posting this. Thank God my Skreem has not failed but I guess I should then buy a few used Skreem units , if this can be done. I wonder if he could make a used Mercedes flip key to work on my car I would like a extra flip key, Perhaps not ?? thank you
Hello Manlaw38,,,have enjoyed your positive feedback for some time. pleasure to aquaint. I am older and retired so have the time to read a lot on this subject. the work Ive put into this wouldn't amount to anything compared to what Wolfstalker has done.

There it will show pictures and explain everything about getting new keys made and what to expect as well as what he requires to clone a skreem or fix yours.
My skreem is still working perfectly and I have only one factory key that's looking pretty beat up.
Im suggesting that you purchase a skreem from an auto wrecker and get it cloned so you have a spare. I bought two today and that's my plan.
Im also getting three yes 3 keys made ,,,,Why 3. because the one factory key that I have wont be long with this world and when it poops I wont be able to get MDP to make another.
I think if I understand correctly that people who have no keys at all are still screwed. hope this helps.

If MDP cuts you a key it will have a transponder . It will start your car and open all doors and trunk and glove box but but it wont do it remotely . see the pics under ,,,, MORE,,, on the MDP website.

Hello Emery it is a pleasure to meet you as well I am also a older fella 60 . It is great to have some people who are nice to me some here can be quite nasty at times if you have read some of these bully types here on comments I have made. You and Wolfstalker are a great resource for us who have legit problems I don't have time for nasty bullies . As you are respectable and I am grateful for the respect shown towards me from members like you . I have painful Rheumatoid arthritis and limits my ability to do as much as I would like I don't know when to stop and then I suffer for days . I don't have a garage to store my car so I am limited in the winter . I have had my XF since Nov 2018 and still learning from this awesome tool , ( this forum ) I wish you all the best and am happy to know there are kind people in this world. Some see kindness and patience as weakness > I will always try to be kind to everyone even if they repeat themselves 100 times
Best wishes

I have read peoples attacks on your messages. These crossfires are intricate pieces of equipment unlike any other auto I've ever experienced. Because we are dealing with both Chrysler as well as Mercedes it multiplies the problems. I am guilty of asking questions repeatedly but every day I learn a little more from those who are indeed patient. Let me give you an example pls. It was only a few days ago that it was confirmed that the PCM<<<ECU<<< AND ECM are actually all three one in the same. members have referred to each and I was lead to believe these were three separate items. It was Wolfstalker who confirmed my suspicions that they are one in the same. I listed my phone number earlier and you are most welcome to put me into your phone contacts. Unless you have international calling you are best to confine our personal conversations to texting which doesn't cost anything. if you have questions I would be happy to talk them thru. I will always be patient and respectful knowing we all are on a mission to enjoy our crossfires.
As mentioned earlier I purchased two Skreem modules from a British Columbia Canada auto wrecker.
While on the phone talking with Curtis the Wrecker owner I made an interesting discovery.
Are you ready for this ,,,,,,,,, I want all members to hear this !!!!!!!!!
They have a crossfire power train and car that has only 34 kilometers on it. That's 20 MILES!!!! don't laugh ,,,pls just listen.
The car was donated from the Chrysler dealer directly to The college where they teach automotive mechanics. The only miles on the car are from the dealership to the college when it was brand new.
The powertrain was never taken apart . Much of the car has been dismantled and an entire rear quarter was removed for an insurance claim.
Curtis wants 2000 Canadian for the engine and guarantees it for 90 days. That's $1400 in American money. I didn't ask how much for the transmission or rear end but if someone out there wants a very unique engine ,,,here it is. As Curtis said himself the only reason that they still have this documented basically zero mile power train is simply because these crossfires have a nothing short of bullet proof power train. Somebody will appreciate this information and can contact me for the phone number . I am 61 and suffer with a failed left knee replacement. the knee for the last five years swell to the size of a power pole . I was a professional bull rider 35 years ago and after a wreck shared a room with a guy named Humpty Dumpty . We were both broken up pretty bad. For the last 35 years I have been a rodeo broadcaster all over Australia, the northern states of the US and Canada as well. All the while I was employed from Age 18 to 60 at Agrium Potash Mine. 42 years and loved every min of it. Im now retired and trying to enjoy my crossfire.
I just read your request for the MDP website.
Absolutelu I will make every effort to make sure you and others are able to find it. I have your email and we will connect privately . my email is emery@yourlink.ca
Thank you Emery I wanted to thank you for your kindness and information, you are a true gentleman . I did see the part about the RCM some people don't have patience esp with those of new to the ownership of this car and told to research it on the forum until our eyes hurt and a headache from HELL LOLOL. I am not sure the phone will work since you are in Canada and I am in USA I don't have international calling . Remember I am also retired on a fixed income with not 3 cars in a heated garage and a millionaires pension , LOLOLO but email perhaps may be the best way of contacting or private message on this site . I don't know why I had to rewrite this message for a 2nd time . The message never was sent and never showed up here anyway I will soon head off to bed and I again want to thank you for standing with me as a friend and fellow Crossfire owner If I can be any help since I have been vested into this car a little longer than you please don't hesitate to ask If I know I will help you. Your a good man. And I got your back . OH BTW I paid $1700 for my Crossfire with 146,000 miles on it . : ) ; ) I am so sorry to hear of your failed knee OMG > I had 2 knee replacements that was don't almost 2 yrs ago . they still hurt but no where what they did . I was walking like a old man now I am kind of back to my old self . But my hands are really getting bad as I am only 19 yrs younger than my MOM and MY dad who both suffer from severe arthritis both Rheumatoid and osteo so I got a double dose of it . I am in pain constantly soooo That's my story . I also have a 2011 Mustang My first new car back then and I own a 1940 Pontiac Silver Streak anyway
Good night and God bless

You wont read this till morning. I sent my perfectly working RCM out of my car as well as a second brand new one off ebay to tighed1@hotmail.com. I sent it from Canada to Arizona and the same day that he got the pkg he re soldered both and sent it back. What an amazing service. I learned what to look for in regards to the poor solders and even the brand new one was a mess. Both needed to be redone as well as a couple relays. First class guy providing a first class service. I tried both in the car and voila. Wonderful feeling to have a spare in the car. Aslo have a cam shaft and crank shaft sensor in the glovebox as well. The last two problems being a much needed second key and two spare skreems will allow me worry free ownership. Gnite
yes, we are all in the same sinking boat--old age and crossfire blues--mine has less than 7000miles- waiting to hear if there is a remedy- Chrysler wants $2500 wi no guarantee here in Los Angeles

Emery here,,,pls tell me what is your remedy required. I have learned a lot with all the hard work carried out by Wolfstalker. if you share your issues Maybe I can offer guidance or assistance.
Hi Emory ,
Well another antiquated CF owner here , I'll be 81 in Dec & have enjoyed your posts as well as others .
So am I to understand you didn't have a SCREEM problem but was due to poor soldering in a couple of modules ?
Knock on wood , I've not had problems w/ my 06 base coupe w/ 47k but sure would like backup modules to have just in case .
I've done the solder repair post here along w/ other improvement suggestions & maybe they have helped ?
Have been looking around for a SRT coupe & from reading what appear to be screem problems w/ very low mileage vehicles , it certainly doesn't make sense to pay a lot of money for a low mileage CF . I just missed a very clean one in Ct for 3k w/ 145 k miles :0(
Thanks again for your input .
BTW , I used to work w/ a fellow engineer Emory

Hi Bob , Here are my suggestions.following is the list of crossfire issues.
Problem 1 Cam shaft sensor can go with no notice . Amazon has them . carry a spare in the glove box
Problem 2 Crank shaft sensor same thing
RCM module failure. Suddenly car wont start ,,, will turn over but wont fire. If it does this twice and the third time there is nothing its probably the RCM. Its in the box beside the battery. There are many links to its easy removal. I sent mine to a guy in Arizona who is the master . he not only re solders the poor factory work but checks and or replaces any faulty relays. By a spare off ebay for $100 and mail your working unit and the new one to D.J. Just ask if you need his address. It is cheap security .Not only will your one in the car keep working but you will have a redone spare in the glovebox.
Next two problems are these. There are absolutely zero keys or skreems available for the crossfires. These items are discontinued. Wolfstalker found Bryan who is the owner at mobile Diagnostics and Programing in Florida. Go to their website and click on more at the top. the bottom option is Crossfire Problems. They can create keys that operate the vehicle as well as fix your skreem unit witch is located just behind the speedometer or just double check the skreem you have that is working or if you buy a couple from a wrecker ,,,they can clone them to your car.
All of the major disabling problems are hopefully resolved with 100% of the recognition going to Wolfstalker. Wish I could meet him in person . he is a dog on a pant leg, never tiring individual who got the crossfire community where it is today ! any questions about part numbers or location you can email me at emery@yourlink.ca
Emery, your description for RCM failure is really for SKREEM failure.
The RCM failure manifests as lights on in the console, but no crank, no start.
My appologies,,,absolutely correct. I have been helping a dozen people by email and typing over and over to try to help ea of them. Yes the skreem is try twice and then nothing. Im sendin address's and returning texts and I see more and more are coming in. this is better this way so it doesn't congest the crossfire forum with unnecessary talk talk talk.
The people I have contacted have received the correct information . It was my error in describing the symptoms.
good eye ,,,once again proves the strength of forum. thank you.

Did I miss some information? So how has the key and SKREEM situation morphed into a difinitive statement "these items have been discontinued"?

it was only a few days ago that Wolfstalker found MDP in Florida. The owner can clone your skreem as well as create functioning keys that will allow you to start and drive the car without the ability to remotely lock and unlock your doors. The statement DISCONTINUED ,is exactly that !!!!! Until MDP announced that they can make these things happen there were zero skreems or keys available anywhere in north America . Chrysler stopped making them ,,,that means Discontinued. as seen in print everywhere including Robs Needs Wings Website.
before three days ago if your skreem went your finished . If you lost your keys nobody anywhere could cut you a key that would start your car. OHHH yes they can cut you a key but it will only get you into the doors or trunk but will not start the car. I welcome any information you might have that shows different. I talk to people by email everyday and they tell me that 7 usa dealers have keys,,,,,no sorry they don't. The keys they have were ordered by crossfire customers and they refused to pick up their vin sensitive keys cut by the factory for their one and only specific vehicle. I acquired a list of every dealer who showed a key in stock and 100% of them gave me the same story . Their keys were only worth the value as a shell replacement.
I have read your forum posts and you already know all of this.

I'm not going to attempt to give you the history and status in a single posting. If you use the search feature on the website you can learn a lot. Also I'm not discounting MDP in any way. You do not need to repeat to me about them to make your point.
Not being able to get new factory keys or SKREEMs for months does not mean discontinued. Certainly for someone that needs it immediately that is no consolation. It's great there is an alternative like SOS, MDP, and others.
You said "as seen in print everywhere like Needs Wings website". Shown below is a screen capture from their website. Rob is not posting that either the keys or SKREEMS are discontinued. There is a big difference between back ordered and discontinued!

You like to ***** at everybody and argue. Some people are actually trying to help the members. Are you looking for a flawed statement to show how smart you are cuz it isn't cutting a swath with me.
Rob has changed his expectation date three times The skreem and a functioning key up until the other day did not exist. Is it likely they ever will,,,hopefully and maybe but dam doubtful . Wolfstalker gave all you observers an option !!!!!! You listed sevral companies that can provide what MDP is doing. can you prove that. If so let the crossfire members know about the other oprions that they might have.
Your an observer who likes to chirp,,,bring something to the forum table TOOL<<<<MAN. What do you know besides complain !!!!

SOS, MDP, and others were your staement !!!! Asking you to let me know who SOS and the others are. I would like to investigate on behalf of the forum to see if we have other options besides MDP. What do the iitials SOS stand for and please provide in detail who the others are. prove that we are here to help each other. Sincere Thank You. Looking forward to your valued information. Much appreciated.
