'06 Crossfire starts and stalls
I have an 06 Crossfire that starts and stalls. Had to be towed after failing emissions due to a dead battery over the winter. I have contacted the 3 closest Chrysler Dealerships NEAR Bridgeport CT and none of them will work on Crossfires any more. !!! Does anyone in the area of BRIDGEPORT CONNECTICUT know a Dealership, shop, or Crossfire mechanic that can help me out ???? Mercedes Benz will not touch the car either. I know what the possible repairs are, but have no one to go to.
If it starts and stalls 2 times and the third time it won't start at all
Ya probably need a new SKREEM module
If that is the cause there are no resources currently to resolve your problem at all
Search the many threads discussing the SKREEM module
Hopefully your issue is something else
As others here have said you need to find an independent European auto repair facility

Have you dropped the fob recently
gently shake the fob next to your ear and listen for a rattle. Sometimes the glue on the transponder chip comes loose and the transponder rattles around or gets stuck at the other end of the fob. That happened to me
i changed the starter and when that didn’t solve it, I ordered a new SKREEM/ring. That too did not correct it. Then I took the fob and listened for the rattle
For me, that was it.
I opened the fob and glued it down.
all good now
hope it’s just this for you too. It’s an easy fix
