Computer programming issues
2004 RED Crossfire
Need assistance with the following issues please.
Tech scanned for codes. Tech could not communicate with deep scanner, also could not communicate with low level and found no codes.
TPMS light is on, check TPMS: Tech checked TPMS sensors, TPMS sensors L/F, L/R (driver side) no detection. R/F sensor (passenger side picks up, R/R sensor no detection. Only good sensor is R/F (passenger side front) Due to scanner not communicating with vehicle unable to program TPMS sensors. I
I have two 2004 Crossfires one Red, one Black. My first thread was on the black one.
Called dealership to see if they could scan. They wanted $176.00 just to read it. Do you know of a less expensive way to have it scanned other than a dealer.
Thank you for your help.

Batteries dead in the sensors in the wheels, and most say they are non rebuildable sensors, but have heard of others that take them out and tear apart carefully, change batteries and put back together, take back to shop and have reinstalled.
I just got a aftermarket tpms system with external sensors.
I don't even notice the light anymore, could just take the bulb out or out a piece of black electrical tape over it.

As far as I know, a DRB III is the only thing that will communicate with the crossfires. You can get a china clone for about 150 or so but you also need a laptop to install the program and its kinda technical to get it working. I also had an autel scanner that could communicate with a few of the modules if you ran it as a Mercedes. Here is a link with some info on the drb emulator. I found it worth it if you ever had to go to the dealer even one time.
