Default 2004 Crossfire Dash lights on

I have an 83 year old friend that doesn't do computers that I am helping. He has a 2004 Crossfire. The car runs fine but the speedo isnt working, the spoiler is up and the light is on, the check engine light, the ABS light ,brake light, ESB light , the BAS light and ESP light are all on. The car starts stops and runs fine. He is located near San Jose CA. Can anyone help by recommending a dealer or shop within a reasonable distance that could diagnose and repair the car? If not that maybe at least suggestions as to what the problem maybe.

Thanx

RR

Do not go to a dealer, only independent shops that work on Mercedes. The first thing you need to do is take it to an auto parts shop like Auto zone and have the error codes then and come back here with the code numbers.

Either the traction control fuse is bad or the traction control relay is bad. Easy fix is to yank the RCM and send it to DJ for rebuild, he will test it in one of his Crossfires before shipping it back.

You can try checking the fuses but it's never the fuse. Take the cover off the module box (under hood, passenger side) and yank all fuses from the RCM except the 40 amp fuse and verify they are good.
If they are, then remove the RCM and send it to DJ (or order a new RCM and still send the old one for rebuild so you have a spare), it comes out without tools.
DO NOT yank on the wires, grasp the connectors and rock them out gently.

Here's a new one from Parts Geek, but I'd just send the old one to DJ as it saves you almost $100.

No Speedo and Dash lit like a Christmas tree? Been there. It was the ABS module. 2¢

ABS Failure. No Speedo/Lights and eventually chronic Limp Mode issues.

also.. clean your battery ground connection at the frame. Even if it looks fine.
