If you are asking this because of a leak from the electrical connector on the automatic transmission or the breather cover leaks on the engine, the answer is: ABSOLUTELY NONE.
Do the recommended fixes instead. What are we working on here?

THis area is for introductions, not technical advice. Once we get you fixed up, I will move this to the appropriate forum.

1 qt = 32 oz
6 qt = 192 oz

8 oz / 192 oz = x oz / 24 oz ---- x = 1 oz.

Like pizzaguy said, why bother. Just fix the leak.

I find it fascinating how so many people will NOT question what is proposed to them.

"I have this product that stops leaks. You pour it in and it seals up the leak."
Really, how does it do that?

"T-205 Re-Seal is a fast, effective and safe stop-leak for all rubber seals and gaskets. The exclusive formulation restores worn or dried out seals and is not harmful to internal bearings and components."
Wow, that is really cool, it restores material worn away from the seal? Like it grows seal material as if it was alive?

Yes, you said that and I suppose maybe you could "un-dry" a dried out seal, but again, how do you 'restore' a worn seal? And if my seal dried out because it's outer surface was exposed to the atmosphere, how does you product, which is flowing on the inside only, restore the outer seal? Does it do it as it leaks out?

And what if I have a leak in the o-ring around the electrical connector in my Crossfire - can it restore the damaged o-ring (that, apparently, was not manufactured to the specs it should have been)?

Sure it does. If that was really the case, why can't I use it in brake systems, as per your website?

Yea, sure it does.

If it does ANYTHING, what it does will mean you will have further issues down the road. If you have a bad seal, replace the seal and change the fluid while you are at it. Or don't, it's your car.

I understand the need to slow down or even stop seal leakage but also realize it is only a temporary repair, at best. If I'm someone that can perform auto repairs myself, then this might be a temporary repair I need to make because the weather may not be suitable for me to do the permanent repair. (Note: I remember a very cold January day years back when my son's old Fiesta had a water pump failure. In below freezing weather, I had to get him running again so he could get to work the next day. Car was parked at the curbing outside of his apartment. Front wheel drive and bitter cold weather. I'll never forget that repair!) Or maybe I don't have the funds to have a reputable repair shop to perform the repair. Anyway, my issue is that the required amount of AT-205 is so miniscule, how could it possibly have any desired impact. And if it can temporarily slowdown or even stop a leak at a seal point, must be some kind of stuff! Anyway, whatever he decides, I hope all goes well for him. Been There, Done That!
