Default Dash LED lights are dim!

On both my Xfire's the dash black LED's in instrument panel is really dark. I have the illumination control maxed out and the only way to really read them clearly is to turn on my parking lights. One car has dark tint and the other has no tinted windows and both have same visability problem. Is there a mod that can be done to brighten them a little or is it one of those things you just gotta live with? I was thinking maybe a small led light glued to the top of the bezel and wired to the ignition switch might work.

Is my question worded "more gooder?" LoL

Is there a mod that can be done to brighten them a little or is it one of those things you just gotta live with?

No your questions rarely make any sense. For whatever reason we keep answering them.

Why doesn't it make any sense? I'm merely asking if there is a way to make those darn black dash led's brighter! I can barely see them unless I have my lights on. Even then the black leds are not that bright. The illumination control is maxed out.

Also I'm sorry if I can't, "evidently," articulate my questions for better understanding! If it's not understood maybe just don't comment. Insults are never a good avenue.

Is there a chance you could take a few pictures so that we can see what you’re seeing too

Windows for TEMP, MILAGE, GEAR and CLOCK. These photo's are with the engine running. Second pic is with the lights on.

Thanks for sharing the images.
The illumination levels appear to be the same as mine with lights on and lights off

I’m seeing the images, I’m not sure as to what’s causing concern?

which gauges are you unable to see with lights off?
I can see them clearly.

if you need it brighter, would flipping on the lights be an issue?
anything preventing you from leaving lights on?

Do you really feel the top picture is able to be seen clearly? I'm barely able to read them with the lights off. I'm already using my parking lights most of the time. Other than the clock most of them aren't that important to know but would be nice to see them all in a brighter window. Guess I'll just have to get over it! Thanks

I do think that both images correctly capture the illumination level with lights on and off
I do not want I be flippant or disrespectful but could could it be an eye focus issue?

both my parents have had eye issues. My mother had issues with clarity/ brightness associated the cataracts. If you’ve looked into this and are 100% I apologize, just putting it out there as a possibility.

hope you’re able to correct it to suit your needs

Never really thought about that aspect before but there is that possibility being I'm 75 and do have some vision problems. Due for an annual eye exam so will see. "Don't get old!" LoL

I've owned three roadsters, I've driven at LEAST ten, maybe twenty more Crossfires at meets or when I borrow a car for the Dragon event - every single Crossfire is set up just like yours.
If you want to see the display, turn the lights on.

Not to be snotty, but why are you driving around without the lights on?

Trying to save the battery, alternator and bulb life. LoL In the Free State of Florida we don't have to have our lights on during daylight hours. After all we are known as The Sunshine State and we can see the roads quite well. LoL

I don’t think driving with lights on or off is an issue of you seeing the road but rather other drivers seeing you.

I have a 2006 Roadster with about 46,000 miles on it and the dash lights look the same on mine.
I don't know if that helps or not.
