Default Help!!! 2005 crossfire, replaced throttle pedal, no rpms

Throttle pedal was replaced ever since the throttle pedal has been replaced the maximum rpm out of this engine is 2000 100 I have found searched and found nine different relearn procedures for the throttle pedal none of them do anything each one is different none of them include the use of a scanner or scan tool and none of them do anything I am tearing my hair out and I don't have that much to tear out help anybody that can help me would be so much appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Why was the throttle pedal replaced and where did you get it, new or used?

The scanner said it was bad and the first one came from a junkyard and it was bad the second one came through eBay used and it no longer is reported as bad however it also doesn't cause the engine did run anything higher than 2100 RPM

Have you tried the "Throttle Reset"?
1. Get in your car, shut the door.

2. Turn the key to the on (not start) position, the position just before the starter
turns over.

3. Press the gas pedal to the floor with the key in the "on" position.

4. Hold the pedal to the floor for five seconds, then turn the key back
to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas
pedal.

5. Wait 2 mins. for a full alignment.

6. Drive the car as you always do.

I have performed so many resets and relearns it's ridiculous I just did it again with the door closed no difference whatsoever I'm thinking that it's the wiring whoever replaced the pedal the last time they were provided with a junkyard pedal that had the pigtail cut off pigtail attached but it was cut off so the person that installed it he cut the pigtail off of the vehicle and wire nutted the connections and as you know it's not the easiest place to get to so I'm going to have to do something to try and get up in there and make sure that the wires are correctly attached that's the only thing I can think of is causing that shift if my closing the door didn't help and it didn't

One nut and a washer and it comes out. The trick is the washer. The splice may not be good. They also may not have disconnected the battery before doing the repair. These cars are so sensitive to electrical.

I agree with ZERACER, remove the negative battery cable before doing any repair.

Rrwebster3 you may have other problems. Did the car run okay before the pedal swap? Wiring diagrams are available on this website for free; They should help get the wiring straight. CLICK
Have you scanned the car with the new pedal installed? Are there any other codes?

Yes, Scanned with the last pedal purchased installed, and with a foot added to the wires using butt connectors instead of wire nutes.. there are no DTC'S. but there is also only 2,400RPM max

also, the car ran okay before the pedal switch.... it's going to need new coil packs (already purchased) and new plugs.......

That 2400 RPM is out on the road driving around the block?
Parked in the garage and revving the engine the RPM is limited by the computer; It should be higher than 2400 more like 3000 ~ 3800 RPM, just trying to be clear on our understanding.
Wish I could be more helpful. Other than the RPM limit the car runs good; no lumpy idly or acceleration?
What kind of car is this? Limited with automatic transmission or standard transmission, or is it a SRT6 with the supercharger?

This is sitting in the garage with a throttle totally pushed to the floor if I do it out on the road it doesn't quite go to 2000 RPM and that's the most it will go it's a limited edition with an automatic transmission.

I have ordered a new used throttle body..
