hazard lights work but turn signals don't
The turn signals were not working, then they were working. But now that I need to get an engine check, to register my car, they no longer work.
I didn't think it was the fuse but I went ahead and replaced it anyway and the problem persists. I see some old posts about this, I was hoping for some newer information.
What's the next step to figure this out without taking it to a shop? It seems I need to remove the fuse box relay module, but then what?
thanks!!!

You might have dirty contacts in the signal switch. I think someone mentioned that it might be possible to spray a tiny bit of contact cleaner into the turn signal switch.
It might be in this video. I don't remember.

Having the lights upgraded to LED (LasFit) and once the front turn signal bulbs were installed, the turn signals and hazard lights wouldn't work. Now, if I hold the hazard switch down, it doesn't engage/click, the turn signals work. Sorry for jumping in this thread, but it's sorta the same problem-ish. I need a new switch button, and if anyone has one handy/spare, etc., please let me know.
I just imagine some Benz engineer saying, Ya, connecting the hazard lights and the turn signals so if one part fails, the whole other part fails, makes sense.
Thanks in advance.

Also, when you pull the bulbs, check the contacts on the sockets as well as the contact surface in the headlight housing. Maybe something is not making a good connection or is causing a short.
