Update: I dropped in a new fan it seems to be working well it turns on with the AC, and I have a working fan control module being sent to me.

I think the problem ultimately was that connection to the positive terminal, I believe over time it probably just got eroded, brittle and maybe the surge coming from the fan / fan control module could have been all it took to finally sever the connection to the battery.

So I guess all is well that ends well CASE CLOSED.

Thank you guys for all your help from the bottom of my R170 heart

Yea, we help so many who never come back to "close the loop" as they say.

It's a respect thing, you guys took the time and effort out of your day to help me when you didn't have to and gave solid advice that came from a place of concern.

So the least I could do is tell you guys that everything is resolved.

Thank you again

Thank you guys again for looking out for me I really do appreciate it. I'm just going to keep the other fan module on standby just in case I need it or if somebody else in the forum needs it
