Default Fuse positions UK Cars

Hi does anyone have an uptodate list of fuses on a 2004 UK car, have some problem but difficult to resolve because workshop manual references fuses that are in particular places except they are not eg. Brake light fuse location 2 except in UK its 9, under bonnet ABS fuses 17 & 18 except not used in UK!
Would be a lot easier if I knew which fuse was which

I assume the fuse location chart is missing from your fuse box?

This is a universal problem. First, the UK cars are not same as ours over here in the USA.
Second, even over here, they moved fuses around between SRT/Base/Limited with even more changes in 07-08 model years (06-07 to you).

If you have the card under the lid, it should be accurate, as there are many versions of the card. If the card is gone, well, welcome to the confusion......

I have bas/esp light on, no abs light. Brakes lights fine (changed switch just in case) now checked every fuse in car, cruise control works fine but no traction control. Had it on a Bosch esi machine which was inconclusive gave 10 possible errors including no engine management or transmission management so no great help, will check traction control relay but has anyone any ideas please?

Are you a member of the UK club? Check here perhaps they can help with the fuse question: UK Crossfire Club

Have mice gotten to any wiring? Proccess the DTC the scan tool gave you and eliminate one at a time.

Saw a post about abs wheel sensor and they rarely fail unless some outside intervention like new tires (tyres UK) well have SUV as well and had new tyres fitted front and back and surprise had a front and rear sensor go down. Remembered had offside wheel off crossfire a while back so just been and pulled it off and measured resistance of ABS sensor - open circuit could be the culprit anyone able to measure theirs as I have seen somewhere they are Hall effect in which case maybe
