Hi all, on start up one of the pulleys on my SRT started screeching. I treated with CRC and it went away, but it's probably the start of bearings going.
I'm not familiar with the pulley setup on my SRT, but I'm told by the original owner, the Chrysler rep here in NZ, that it was modified with AMG pulleys.
I'll need to replace the pulley, but I have to identify what it is. Could someone please point me to the correct replacement? Please see photo - the screeching pulley is circled. The pulley is approx 70mm diameter.
The bracket over the bearing is an AMG one: A112 237 0740
I'd also appreciate a knowledgeable description of the setup in the photo, if you can identify it.
I've replaced pulleys on other cars before, so expect I can do this one as well. Any tips?
Thanks Rob. It's reassuring to have someone review the setup. So those are standard idler pulleys that came with the car?
Can you tell from the image, which, if any of the setup is modified?
The ECU has been Eurocharged tuned for a pulley upgrade. Will the new pulleys be okay with that tune?
I'll do the full upgrade you're recommending.

the top pulley is oem, the lower one is aftermarket and used to come with the large crank pulley kits until they started failing back around 2010 and the PSK came to life. i can't see which crank pulley you have but so long as it is a 178 (which most are) then no ecu tuning is needed.
