Default Vaccum pump

My vaccum pump seems to run all the time draining the battery. Is it just old ?

Do you mean the central locking pump? The one that's located in the trunk on the left side?
Check to see if there was any water damage. Disconnect the wire harness and see if there is corrosion on the pins.

I should have said air pump for locks , seems to run and kill battery. Any thoughts outside of replacement

In the engine fuse box, try pulling fuses #25 and #26. See if the pump stops.

Do a search of Central Locking Pump in the upper L/H corner of thit sight and you will get all kinds of info. Do you have a roadster or coupe? Removing t for inspection is the first step.

You can get one off E-bay but be sure to get the wires and connectors with it.
