BAS/ESP light and low pedal issue
Hello everyone, I am new to this forum. I bought a 2008 coupe about three years ago and love the car. Have had no issues so far, but recently after sitting for a few weeks over the bad winter we had here in New England the BAS and ESP lights come on after driving a few and the brake pedal also seems low.
I checked some threads here and someone mentioned bleeding the brakes and refilling the fluid. I am trying to find that post if anyone can help.

I suggest you start here: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...es-suspension/
On page 147 of your owners manual (hopefully you have one) it says that if the power supply was interrupted (battery) you should re-sync the ESP.
1. Turn the ignition switch on/run.
2. Rotate the steering wheel to center.
3. Rotate the steering wheel completely to the left.
4. Rotate the steering wheel completely to the right.
5. Bring the steering wheel back to center.
The BAS/ESP malfunction light will go out.
If it is still illuminated, we got a problem.
But for now, Cheers and enjoy this wonderful little hands on hot rod sports car.

You might want to replace all 4 brake hoses. They deteriorate over time and become soft. The pressure in the brake lines will cause the old hoses to expand, thus producing a soft pedal.
Here are the posts that I did on replacing the hoses and bleeding the lines:
Rear Brake hose replacement
Front brake hose replacement
You can get some great videos on bleeding the brakes on you tube.
