Buy two and run a long cord between them and voila you can go as long as you want just ensure that you have enough cord!

quick question, I just did this today and it didnt do anything. I connected everything the way it is shown on the pics. the only difference was, my buzzer was kind of big. it was 273-063 and it was higher voltage wise too. (thats the only buzzer they had so i grabbed it)
do you think that has to do with it or possible bad buzzer?
thanks

Would like to install this and most seem to be using the 273-060. I found a 273-079 in my parts draw any comments. Anyone use this piezo? Should I just get the 273-060???? Ron

Well, right next to it there is a bit of a slit that matches up with the clip that secures the lid. I just laid the wires into that slit and, using a bit of 3M double sided tape, stuck the buzzer to the inner body panel adjacent to the fuse box. The lid still snapped into place as before the install.
Do you get one long beep or is it 3 separate chirps? Thanks Ron

I did this mod a while back, and it works great. I wouldn't mind if it was a little bit louder (I chose the louder of the two initial choices given), but as long as I listen for it as I walk away, it's fine.
I have to thank Corfire This was simple and straight forward to do. I used the -060 and installed it out side of the box and it is plenty loud for me.
Thanks again

• Do you want a Keyless Entry Alert Tone?
• Biggest stereo bang for the buck mod
• Global Unlocking on Key Remote - One Press Unlocking
• Throttle Body Reset
• Lowering Suspension
• Wheel spacers/bolts
• Ceramic Brake Pads
• Reset FSS after oil change
• HIDs
And I am sure that there are many others, but wouldn't be neat to have like a "Beginners Guide to the Crossfire" sticky?
Finally got around to installing this yesterday, when I took my roadster out of winter storage -- it may be March, but it's been over 60 here for a week now! Woohoo! Anyhow, awesome mod, corfire, just fantastic. I bought the 60 buzzer, but once you get it sealed inside the fuse box and then shut the hood, it's very quiet. I'll probably mount it outside the box at some point. Still, this is a huge improvement over, y'know, dead silence! It's audible if you listen for it, and certainly a lot better than a horn honk. Very classy kind of sound.
Thanks again. Love this forum, just awesome advice here for our great cars!
