How to remove door panel
Thanks "Musclefan21" for your information on the removal of the inner door pull. Although I have had 3 Crossfires, I have never needed to do any interior work, so had not been involved in any of the posts involving in the subject. On my recent Crossfire purchase one of the inner parts of one of my door pulls had the silver covering damaged, leaving a few sharp edges. I attempted to cover the COMPLETE door pull with a black carbon fiber wrap, which looked good, BUT as it was difficult to access the outer edges the finish there was a bit NAF. I was not aware it was so simple to remove just the inner section of the door pull. After studying your post *Inner Door Panel Removal" I removed my previous wrap and recovered just the inner half with the same carbon wrap and it turned out a great job, much easier Thanks for your great post with pictures, helped a lot.
I have removed the door panels five or six times and the tricky part can be to remove the facing of the door pull until you know the trick. When done carelessly the surface finish can get damaged. The prying is done from the bottom ONLY.
The bottom of this facing has three pry slots in it that allow a small plastic trim tool to be inserted to pry of the face, find one that is 1/3 the length from each end and start from there to get the center snaps freed and then work towards each end. Easy Peasy!

great post!
I have removed all of the screws and clips, but there is no way this panel is coming off when i push upward
is there a trick to getting it loose from the top track?
thanks

Does the door panel just hinge at the top? It is tight in the top slot.
I push up with all that i have but it won't move
Got it! A new day brought new thoughts and another set of hands, my wife (rare)
I lowered the window and had her apply pressure upwards on the bottom while I gently applied pressure under the door panel lip from the outside with a very large but blunted from use screwdiver. That door panel came up and off smooth as silk
thanks for your 2-cents,, every little bit helps

I followed these steps but must have missed the part about once you have removed the torx screws from the handle THERE IS NO need to remove that portion of the chrome handle. It can stay with the door skin! A lesson learnt too late for me I am afraid as I managed to snap the other piece of handle trying to remove it from the door skin.
I am now in the process of devising a new handle system. I am considering a small gauge chrome chain anchored to original points with QR clips.

Nice write-up on DIY procedure. Saved the PDF file to my library of XFire Forum Repairs. That folder is probably a better source than the Shop Manual on most things.

If it is broken the way they normally break the repair is invisible and stronger than the original part.
I’ll add the link after I find it. If you look at the link in my signature and go to the door section you will find it. Look for door pull repair.
I am assuming this is what you broke.
There is a thread that shows how to fix the broken part of the door handle.
