What controls the dome light in a convertible

Here's a pic of what I am talking about. You can't tell in the pic because of the flash but to look at it looks blue. If it's not the trunk light I have no idea what it could be.

Looks the same as my trunk light in the coupe. I'd say pry it out using a tool in the top end in the picture.
