cigarette lighter

I just need to unplug the wires from the back of the cigarette lighter. I searched the forum, no luck. I don't want to break it. Is there a release of some sort ? Thanks

The top plug slides sideways. This is mentioned many times but is always hidden somehow. Do not pull.
