Hi Folks, My name is Jake I am 23 and live in Cambs ! My car is a Grey 54plate Xfire (Not SRT) with 46k and full history. I had her for about 9 months and has been faultless much to the dismay of my mates who said I should have bought a beemer cause she would spend all the time in the garage and most of them thought I would never get insured but it only £900 which I thought was quite good for a V6.

Any how last few days when I kickdown initially she flies as she should but then when I pull in and go to overtake again I have either very little or no power. Normally if I stop and restart the engine it clears itself to go again but not always. If I don't touch the kickdown she will accelerate as she should. Did the throttle reset thingy - depress throttle 5 seconds etc but this did not help much. Now got the engine management light on but can't get the codes read till Monday.
Any help will be greatfully received. As I said if I accelerate without flooring she will respond fine. P.S. am I the youngest on here ?

cheers jake.
