Locking wheel nut
Hi
My 2005 Crossfire doesn't have locking wheel nuts, is this normal? I would like to put some on so do I have to look for anything special?
Thanks for any help.
Regards
Elena

Your car does not use "nuts" but BOLTS. Mine has a 'security' bolt on each wheel, I carry the special socket for them in the trunk.
Search Google for "Locking Wheel Bolt Mercedes" or "Locking Wheel Bolt Crossfire" - remember that what fits the early SLK320 fits our cars.

The locking studs were extra, although some dealers add them from the get go these days.
These are the specifications for size on the OEM studs. ES is the across flats dimension.
Note the radius (R) seat, they are not tapered seats.
I think the L dimension could be 38mm (1.5")

I have the box for my set in my hand but the label is torn away and I cannot read the number. I got mine from a Chrysler dealer and they were not too expensive, but still they would be cheaper elsewhere.
From the Crossfire Master Parts list.
